The Austrian pianist was born in 1995 and began to play the piano at the age of five. From 2007 until 2012 he was a pupil of Karl Heinz Kämmerling at first at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and then with an exhibition at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where he also studied with Vassilia Efstathiadou. At the moment Aaron Pilsan is a student of Lars Vogt in Hannover. He has participated at master classes given by András Schiff, Alfred Brendel and Matti Raekallio.

In 2011 he was nominated by the magazine Fono Forum as the best young artist of the year. Aaron Pilsan is also a scholarship holder of the Mozart Gesellschaft Dortmund. He was chosen to be a Rising Star by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO).

He has been a guest at famous festivals like the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, the Schubertiade, the Mozart Festival Würzburg, the Festspiele in Schwetzingen and Bregenz, the Kissinger Sommer and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. He has performed regularly at Lars Vogt's Heimbacher Kammermusikfestival "Spannungen" where he has five times been awarded a scholarship. The current and future season include concerts at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Palais des Beaux Arts Brussels, Wiener Konzerthaus, at the Musée du Louvre Paris, New York and Tokyo, at the Pianofortissimo Festival Bologna, Moselfestival Trier, orechstra concerts at the Enescu Festival Bukarest under Dennis Roussel Davis and at the Wiener Musikverein with the Jeunesses Orchestra and Beethoven Triple-Concerto.
