Biografía

Born in Narni in 1997, he began studying opera singing during his high school years at the Liceo Musicale in Terni. He subsequently attended the Conservatory of Parma under the guidance of  Nemi Bertagni, where he graduated in opera singing with top marks in 2019. In the same year, he  joined the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. 

 

He has won various prizes including, the most prestigious: 

Pavarotti Foundation Prize and Young Male Talent Prize at the Etta and Paolo Limiti Competition  at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan in 2019 

Best Under 25 Award at the Clip International Opera Competition in Portofino in the same year On both occasions, the highly prestigious juries were chaired by the current Superintendent of La  Scala, Dominique Meyer. 

 

He has already debuted the roles: 

Nemorino in Donizetti’s Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza 

Don Ramiro in Rossini’s Cenerentola at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan 

Il Conte di Almaviva in Rossini’s Barbiere di Siviglia in Lugano as part of the Festival Ticino in  Musica, at Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova. 

Paolino in Matrimonio Segreto from D. Cimarosa at Teatro Alla Scala 

Edmondo in Giacomo Puccini’s Manon Lescaut at Teatro Verdi di Trieste 

Tamino in Die Zauberflöte from W. A. Mozart at Teatro Verdi di Trieste 

Cavalier Belfiore in Viaggio a Reims from G. Rossini at Rossini Opera Festival Zio Vezinet in Nino Rota’s Cappello di Paglia di Firenze at Teatro Alla Scala Benvolio in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan

He has attended Masterclasses held by prefessionals such as Marcelo Alvarez, Luca Salsi,  Alfonso Antoniozzi, Francesco Meli, Pietro Spagnoli, Gregory Kunde to name but a few. 

 

He has participated in numerous concerts singing arias from the repertoires of Donizetti, Puccini,  Gounod, Verdi, Rossini at the Ridotto Toscanini of the Teatro alla Scala and at other institutions in  Italy and abroad. With the Accademia he recently took part in the Bolzano Festival as part of the  Cinema meets opera event by musicologist Fabio Sartorelli and in the Lausitz Festival in Germany  with a work by director Roberto Abbado, Falstaff Infinito. In November he will be on a tour in  Greece with the Academy.
