The Filarmónica Joven de Colombia is the country’s leading youth orchestra and one of Latin America’s most distinguished orchestral training programmes. Bringing together Colombia’s finest young musicians, the orchestra has built a remarkable artistic reputation through a combination of outstanding musical standards and a deep commitment to the development of the country’s next generation of performers.
Through a highly competitive selection process and an intensive training model based on orchestral residencies, side-by-side coaching and collaborations with internationally acclaimed conductors and soloists, its members have reached a level of excellence that has taken them to prestigious concert halls across Europe, the United States and Latin America, establishing the orchestra as one of Colombia’s foremost cultural ambassadors.
