Biography

Lyric bariton from Bogotá, in recent years, he has had a prolific career as a soloist in productions at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santodomingo, the Teatro Colón in Bogotá, La Compañía Estable, the Ópera of Colombia, the Jaime Manzur Foundation, the Cartagena International Music Festival, the International Opera Studio in Gijón (Asturias), the Opera of the Moncloa-Aravaca district (Madrid), and the Opera al Parque Festivals. He also performed as a soloist with the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, and the Cali Philharmonic Orchestra. He has toured and given recitals in various venues in Spain, Italy, and Colombia.

Master in music with a major focus on lyrical singing, with Suma Cum Laude degree from the Juan N. Corpas University School of Music in Bogotá. Got a scholarship from Carolina Foundation, which allowed him to pursue advanced studies at the Liceu Conservatory of Music in Barcelona with the catalan tenor Eduard Giménez. Then moved to Madrid, where he continued his higher studies at the “Alfredo Kraus” Singing program at the Reina Sofía School of Music with teachers Tom Krause and Ryland Davies.
